WHAT HOUSE? AWARDS Nov 08
Applecross collected three awards in the UK property Oscars at this year’s ceremony.
The What House Awards presented Applecross with trophies for Eskbridge, a development of 77 houses in Penicuik. It won Silver for Best Brownfield Development after an historic industrial wasteland was transformed by Applecross into a thriving family community.
Also collecting awards were Tanalach, a boutique development with an innovative design of limestone panels and sandstone “fins picking up Bronze for Best Exterior and Barnton Avenue West, a collection of nine designer apartments located alongside a private golf club, making the use of a sloping south facing site to its best advantage with stunning views of the Pentland Hills,which won Bronze for Best Apartment Scheme.
HERALD PROPERTY AWARDS Sept 08
Applecross were commended in three categories at a ceremony in Glasgow having been shortlisted in six. These were: Best Apartment (The Cedars), Best Luxury Home (Tanalach) and Best Showhome (The Cedars). We have yet to have the official launch of our first development in the West of Scotland so it was good to be up on stage more than any other home provider!
SCOTTISH HOME AWARDS April 08
Applecross picked up three awards including the coveted Savills Housebuilder of the Year Award where we were accoladed in particular for our customer service. Waterside Green picked up best Waterside development and we also won the Medium Housebuilder of the Year.
The Scottish Home Awards is the house building industry's independent awards programme which was established to promote excellence in Scottish house building. Ninety one award entries were debated by an influential expert judging panel.

New Pitsligo won GOLD for Best Exterior Design for its 'striking, high-quality design that beautifully reworks the typical Edinburgh house design by inventively combining glass and local stone. A fantastic attempt to rethink the traditional canon of Scottish architecture in a style that in no way compromises on its modernity'
New Pitsligo also picked up SILVER for Best Luxury Development. In particular judges noted 'Every year Applecross raises the bar - the electrics, the finishes, the storage solutions and the bathroom fitments all become more sophisticated and, as the product becomes more luxurious, the size of each apartment increases, offering spacious, open-plan living'.
Waterside Green won BRONZE for a triumph of passion and patience. "A Rolls Royce complex offering some of the best outdoor sports pitches in Scotland."
We also picked up joint BRONZE for Best Medium Housebuilder. "Stylish exteriors and crisp interiors are hallmarks of Applecross homes."
CRAFT EXCELLENCE AWARDS - Scottish Building Edinburgh & District Association.
We are delighted to announce that our Eskbridge development has been awarded the Craft Excellence Award for its outstanding quality of the facing brickwork on its North and South Mills. The panel's decision was unanimous. This is the second award Applecross have picked up for Craft Excellence. Last year New Pitsligo won the award for its stonework. he award is the second award we have received for this Scottish Building Edinburgh and District Association.
DAILY MAIL UK PROPERTY AWARDS May 07Eyre Place won an award for 'Best Apartment' for one of its Duplex Penthouses in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2007. These awards recognise those companies who represent the absolute best, so we are incredibly proud of this achievement.
THE HERALD PROPERTY AWARDS Sept 2007
The Riccarton Townhouse won an award for 'Best Townhouse' at this year's inaugral Herald Property Awards. The judges found it very well laid out creating spacious and adaptable rooms on each level of the property and incorporating some stunning aspects of design. The Riccarton Townhouse is part of one of our recent developments, Woodhall Mill, which is now sold out. However it will be making a comeback at in Glasgow next year.
NHBC PRIDE IN THE JOB AWARDS 2007
Our project managers at Waterside Green and Barnton Avenue West picked up NHBC 'Pride in the Job Awards this year. The commitment required to win an award is immense and our 2 Project Managers have been selected from over 18,000 sites across the UK. Judging for Pride in the Job takes place all year round and to win an award candidates have to demonstrate consistently high standards in all aspects of their work, from their technical knowledge through to their leadership and organisational skills.
