Rather than sprinkle our charitable giving across a variety of causes, we concentrate our efforts on just one, in order to make a big difference in one area, homelessness. Given that we provide homes for those who can afford the best, it seems appropriate to help those who can’t. So we support a local charity, Bethany Christian Trust, who concentrate their efforts on relieving the suffering and meeting the long term needs of homeless and vulnerable people.
Each year we donate 1% of our profits to Bethany Christian Trust to support them in their endeavour. So far this year we have kept ‘The Bugle’, (a magazine produced by service users for service users), from the chop and committed to a further year of support for the 'Caring Christmas Trees' campaign. Our staff help man the Christmas trees distribution depots and, instead of posting corporate Christmas cards to our friends, partners and suppliers, we send out email Christmas cards providing links to the campaign website.
