Applecross are proud members of Homes for Scotland, an organisation established by the country's home building industry in 2001.
Homes for Scotland believes everyone deserves a proper home and that the investment to provide them should be welcomed and encouraged. After all, the housing industry is one of the country's most important yet undervalued industries. Did you know it is the largest source of private investment in the Scottish economy, contributing around £5billion and employing around 110,000 people?
Homes for Scotland is committed to improving the quality of living in Scotland by ensuring that people have modern homes in the places they want to live.
Amongst their aims are:
• inform and influence local and national government policy, practice and legislation on matters relating to the home building industry.
• promote awareness of the economic, social and environmental contribution of the home building industry to Scotland and the challenges facing it.
• develop relationships and partnerships to facilitate the industry's long-term success.
