No, our name has no direct connection with the Applecross peninsula on the West coast of the Scottish Highlands. However, the story behind the name is probably a little more entertaining….. Applecross was the site of one of the earliest monastic sanctuaries in Scotland and was very difficult to access. So, to our founders, it summed up the seemingly impossible task of building the perfect home. We ain’t got there yet, but we never stop trying.
